Reinforced Windows and Sashes

The Town of Superior defines reinforced windows and sashes as those having a frame made of materials designed to have greater strength than a standard frame and sash.

This condition can be satisfied by being of a design incorporating additional strengthening features, by incorporating additional components in the frame and sash, or by providing a listing from the manufacturer as “reinforced.”

The reinforced window designation shall be approved by the Building Official prior to acceptance for construction.
