Trash and Recycling Fee
The Town moved to a “Three Cart Program” for waste collection in 2025. Residents served under the Town’s contract have access to three carts: 1) Garbage 2) Recycling and 3) Compost, and customers pay based on their selected garbage cart size. The Town provides collection service for: Original Town, Sagamore, The Ridge, Coal Creek Crossing, Downtown Superior, Calmante, Lanterns, Montmere at Autrey Shores and Rogers Farm.
Service includes:
- Weekly garbage collection
- Weekly recycling collection
- Every other week compost collection
- More size choices for carts: 35-, 65-, or 95-gallon
- All streams are collected with electric vehicle collection trucks
The rate structure is based on garbage cart size as selected by the resident; and the rate includes any size recycling and compost cart.
Please view additional service details on the Garbage and Recycling Information page.
For residents of Rock Creek Ranch and The Summit at Rock Creek Townhomes, trash and recycling services are provided by the Rock Creek Master Homeowners Association via contract with Waste Connections. Please contact Rock Creek HOA for additional information.
Landscape Maintenance Fee
Monthly fee for enhanced landscaping within our community. The Class Map Designation(PDF, 1MB) shows the area in Superior maintained by this fee (light green color). The fee is broken down as follows:
2025 Fees
- $36.83 /month Single-Family Detached Residence
- $30.70 /month Single-Family Attached and Condominium Residence
- $24.55 /month Apartment
The Town’s utility enterprises, as a matter of policy, do not allow individual residents to opt-out of specific fees as each utility is supported directly by collective fees spread across all Town customers, and these fees cannot be individualized on a per residence level. This includes not allowing vacation or seasonal “holds” since each utility service is provided to all residences on a consistent basis, and is not scalable to allow customers to opt-in or out.
Water Restrictions
During irrigation season, the Town of Superior requests that there will be no irrigation from potable lines during the watering season between the hours of 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. The watering of commercial, parks and common areas throughout the community is supplied by non-potable water.
Free Sprinkler System Audits
The Town of Superior has partnered with Resource Central and their Slow the Flow program to provide free outdoor audits as part of our Water Conservation Program. Town of Superior residents can schedule an appointment with a trained technician for a water-saving inspection of your sprinkler system. Request your free Audit by calling 303-999-3824. Visit Resource Central for additional information.
