South Pool Construction
The Town’s contractor, A.D. Miller, has mobilized onsite and fenced off the area. Demolition of the pool deck and interior of the bath house will continue this week.
The playground is closed temporarily during concrete demolition. Closures may be intermittent throughout construction based on noise and other safety concerns that would otherwise affect residents utilizing the space. Signage will be posted and the playground re-opened when the area is safe to visit. Please follow posted signage and construction barriers and avoid entering restricted areas
The new pool will include a renovated bathhouse, a larger swimming pool with new play features, including a 25-foot slide and current channel, and a splash pad.

North Pool Renovation Construction
North Pool’s final day of the 2026 swim season was Sunday, August 23. This renovation will bring significant improvements to the facility, including: a new pool shell and deck, updated bath house, additional shade, a new zero-depth entry wading pool, and more efficient mechanical and sanitation systems.
Demolition of the pool deck and interior of the bathhouse is nearly complete. AD Miller and staff met with Xcel to go over plans for the demo of the existing transformer, placement of the new 3-phase transformer, and logistics for temporary power, which will keep tennis court lights operable.
Tennis courts remain open during construction. Several parking spaces near the entrance to the lot available for tennis players, with a safe pedestrian route to the tennis courts along the construction fencing. Please follow posted signage and construction barriers and avoid entering restricted areas.
The Town will continue to provide weekly project updates throughout the construction phase, including information about project progress, upcoming activities, and any impacts to the surrounding community. Thank you for your patience as we work to transform North Pool into an improved, welcoming facility that the Superior community can enjoy for years to come!
