Town Council Meeting

May 27

During Tuesday’s Town Council meeting, the Council: heard a presentation and held a discussion with a representative from CliftonLarsonAllen regarding the 2024 Annual Comprehensive Financial Report (ACFR) and the auditor’s management report/governance communication; received an update from Town staff regarding the Rock Creek Parkway/Coal Creek Drive Roadway Improvements Project; made proclamations for Pride Month and Gun Violence Awareness Day; held a second reading and approved an ordinance amending Section 8-1-70 of the Superior Municipal Code regarding authority to tow vehicles; approved an agreement with A to Z Recreation to design and build/renovate the Community Park playground; approved an intergovernmental agreement with the Colorado Department of Transportation for the McCaslin Boulevard Multiuse Path Crossing Project; approved a settlement agreement with Kyia Money; and approved an alcohol in public places permit. The Council also held a public hearing and first reading regarding an application to rezone Lots 1-6, Block Q in Original Town from Light Industry to Medium Density Residential.
