Stick around for an educational presentation on the Native history in Boulder County from Right Relationship Boulder. Right Relationship Boulder are Indigenous and non-Native people working with individuals, local organizations and governments to support Indigenous Peoples’ connection to land, raise Indigenous voices and practice right relationships with the Native peoples who lived in the Boulder Valley historically and those who live here today.

Downtown Sounds fundraising event supports Marshall Fire Remembrance projects
The Town of Superior, in partnership with local non-profit Superior Rising and the Superior Chamber of Commerce, is hosting an inaugural fundraising event at the new Superior Civic Space.
Join us for Downtown Sounds, an intimate evening with music from FACE Vocal Band and light bites and beverages available for purchase.
All proceeds support the Marshall Fire Remembrance projects.
Snag your ticket today! General admission tickets are $25. VIP tickets are $250 for a table of four and include early access with a private performance from FACE Vocal Band, a meet and greet, photo opportunities, memorabilia signing, reserved seating, one free drink per person, and all-you-can-eat bites.

History lives here: You're invited to visit the Superior Historical Cemetery on Nov. 1!
Are you interested in learning more about the Town's history? You're in luck!
Volunteers from the Historical Commission will have the Superior Historical Cemetery (2580 Central Park Way) open quarterly, on select days, starting on Saturday, Nov. 1 from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.
The cemetery, established in 1873, features interpretive signs, benches, and a trail system. Approximately 90 former residents are interred there, including two Civil War veterans.
The Town restricts open access to the historic cemetery for protection and preservation purposes.

Superior Seniors Phone Photography group wraps up with final showcase
The Superior Seniors Phone Photography group is coming to an end, but not before we host a celebratory showcase in honor of all the participants have learned!
Ahead of the final Senior Photography class, all are welcome to stop by the Superior Community Center (1500 Coalton Road) from 1 to 3:30 p.m. on Wednesday, Nov. 12 to check out a slideshow of the group's favorite photos.
Light snacks and treats will be provided.

ACES offering free leaf bags for Superior residents
Leaves are falling, and Superior's Advisory Committee for Environmental Sustainability (ACES) is here to help you compost them!
Superior residents can pick up two free leaf bags at the Superior Community Center (1500 Coalton Road) or the Superior Civic Space(2250 Main St., Suite 1001) while supplies last.
Leaf bags can be dropped off at the Town's Yard Waste site (2125 Honey Creek Lane) from 2 p.m. to dusk on Wednesdays or 8 a.m. to dusk on Saturdays and Sundays. Leaves can also go directly in your curbside compost cart.

Snow Busters help keep Superior's sidewalks safe
Get outside, help your neighbors and keep the community safe by volunteering for the Snow Buster program!
The program assists residents who report being physically and financially unable to remove snow, sleet and ice from the sidewalk adjacent to their property to remain in compliance with Municipal Code 11-1-20.
If you need help or want to help others, Snow Busters is the program for you! Volunteers will be assigned to a community member who requires assistance with snow removal.

Town hosting Comprehensive Plan Update Open House on Oct. 23
Residents are invited to a Comprehensive Plan Update Open House event on Oct. 23 from 5 to 7 p.m. at the Superior Community Center, 1500 Coalton Road.
Those in attendance will have the opportunity to provide feedback on the Comprehensive Plan Update related to finalizing land use recommendations for Opportunity Areas and discuss recommendations from survey data collected during the Chili Fest about what the Town priorities should be moving forward.

Know Your Ride: E-Bike, Low Power Scooter, or E-Motorcycle?
Not all e-bikes are the same, and not all are legal for riders under 16. Understanding your bike’s specifications is key to knowing who can ride it and where. Since it’s not always easy to tell, check the manufacturer’s specifications before you ride.

Holiday lighting to be reduced this season
The Town has traditionally offered a Holiday Lighting display at various locations throughout the Town.
This coming holiday season, the Town will reduce display locations to focus on Town facilities and properties, and commercial centers. This will eliminate roughly eight locations in the Rock Creek neighborhood, Sagamore neighborhood, and Original Town.
Neighborhoods may install lighting displays of their own or choose to sponsor the cost of displays in their neighborhood by partnering with the Town.

Superior-Khandbari Sister City Project hosting Day of the Dog celebration
Celebrate the second day of the holy Hindu Tihar festival with a Day of the Dog event hosted by the Superior-Khandbari Sister City Project.
Stop by Autrey Park (1830 Honey Creek Drive) from noon to 2 p.m. on Sunday, Oct. 19 for this special event! Your furry friend will receive a blessing and all the dog treats they can eat.
Day of the Dog is free to attend. All dogs must be on a leash outside the dog park. Please only bring well-adjusted dogs that get along with other dogs and people.

The Superior Youth Leadership Council is once again hosting the community favorite Monster Mash Party. It's sure to be a frightfully fun night with your friends and neighbors!
This year's party features a Trunk or Treat, so bring those candy bags! Plus, don't forget to come dressed to impress to compete in our costume contests.
This is a fun, family-friendly evening that is free and open to everyone. No registration needed. Serendipity Tap and Café will be open to purchase food and drinks.

Come connect with fellow veterans in a friendly atmosphere where you can share stories, advocate for important issues, and discover valuable resources. This monthly gathering currently takes place on the last Sunday of each month.

Upcoming Programs at the Superior Civic Space
Stained Glass Angel Workshop
Saturday, Nov. 8 from 1 to 4 p.m.
Superior Civic Space (2250 Main St., Suite 1001)
In this beginner-friendly stained glass workshop, students will create a standing stained glass
angel designed to hold a tealight.
The project is simplified for accessibility, with no advanced soldering or wire work required, making it suitable for students ages 15 and up.
Younger students under 15 may participate if accompanied by a participating adult. This glowing angel will make a beautiful addition to holiday décor or a heartfelt handmade gift. Each participant will leave with a finished piece ready to display.
