Permit Guidance

Pulling a Permit

A building permit must be pulled through our permit portal, Community Core, through the Town's Building Department, which is operated by SAFEbuilt. All permit applications and submittals must be submitted electronically through Community Core. Please review the Contractor Licensing page for more information on registration and licensing.

Applying for a Permit (Contractors): Contactors who are looking to pull a permit and are licensed in the Town of Superior, login to Community Core here.

Community Member Registration: For community members looking to apply for a permit, please register by visiting Community Core. Once there, click on the "Apply for a Permit" button and answer "No" to the prompt asking for an account. Next, enter the email in which you would like to receive messages from Community Core. Lastly, the Building Department will send a follow-up email, prompting users to enter more personal information. After that, users will be able to apply for a permit.

Plan review fees must be paid prior to any reviews to commence on your project.

Paying all Building Permit fees for your project does not constitute the right to work as a Building Permit is required to do any work on your construction project. The approval of Building Department, Planning and Zoning, Public Works, and Fire Prevention must be completed before a permit will be issued. You and/or your contractor will receive an email with the permit once all reviews have been completed.
