Town Council Meeting

June 23

During Monday’s Town Council meeting, the Council: received a project update from Public Works regarding the Public Works & Parks Operations and Maintenance Facility Project; approved advisory committee reappointments; approved an agreement with Hilary Williams for the modification and installation of a mural to be installed on one wall of the Rock Creek Parkway underpass; approved a contract with A.D. Miller Construction for pre-construction services for the North Pool Renovation Project; and held a public hearing and first reading to consider an Ordinance of the Town Council approving annexation to the Town, real property known as the Turnbull property at 1599 S. 76thSt., and zoning such property as Planned Development. The public hearing for the second reading was continued to Monday, July 14, 2025, at Town Hall.


Cultural Arts and Public Spaces Advisory Committee Meeting

June 26

The CAPS Advisory Committee received staff updates and reviewed recent events and workshops. The Committee formally approved a payment to Hilary Williams for a mural in the Rock Creek Parkway tunnel (upon construction completion) after receiving Town Council approval at their June 23 meeting. Lastly, CAPS approved a Neighborhood Sponsorship application for South Seibert Court's July 4 float.
