Green Team Volunteers

Are you passionate about diverting trash? Are you dependable, reliable, and hardworking? If you answered yes to any of these questions, we encourage you to apply for our Green Team!

The Green Team is a dedicated group of volunteers who help advance the Town's sustainability efforts by guiding event attendees in using zero-waste stations at some of our biggest events, including the Summer Concert Series, 4th of July, and Chili & Beer Fest.

Here's how you can apply:

  1. Start your application through the Town of Superior Volunteer Registration and Release Form.
  2. Under the header labeled Green Team, select "yes" if you are interested in applying to be part of the Green Team. You will need to watch the training video, review the sustainability one-pager, and complete a couple of short knowledge check questions.
  3. Attend our brief in-person training on Monday, June 8, at 5 p.m. at the Superior Civic Space to pick up your T-shirt.

Once all the steps above are complete, a Town staff member will provide the Green Team password so you can begin signing up for shifts.

Superior Youth Leadership Council

The Superior Youth Leadership Council (SYLC) is a group of students in grades 8 through 12 who work together to represent the voices of Superior’s youth while helping create events, volunteer opportunities, and community change.

From hosting events like Monster Mash and Parents’ Night Out, to working with the Town Council and other organizations, SYLC gives students the chance to make a real impact, earn volunteer hours, gain leadership skills, and form lasting friendships.

If you want to get more involved in your town and help shape the community around you, we encourage you to apply! The new SYLC term starts in August! Apply now on the Town website.
