Creativity meets community at the inaugural Superior Mural Festival!

Join the Town of Superior and Boulder's Street Wise Arts on Sunday, Oct. 4, from 1 to 4 p.m. as Downtown Superior transforms into an open-air art gallery. Talented artists will bring blank walls to life with colorful designs exploring the theme of nature and regrowth.

Enjoy an afternoon of artist exhibits, live painting, music from Carlos and the Crew & Drunken Hearts, arts vendors, food, and fun! The festival will be held in conjunction with the final Superior Summer Market of the season. You can expect all the fun of a typical market, but with even more excitement!

There are a few ways you can watch the stellar lineup of artists in action and learn more about their work:

1. Walk through Downtown Superior up to a week ahead of the festival.
   The muralists will begin working on their colorful creations, and you're welcome to watch!
   
   
2. Meet the artists at the official pre-festival event.
   Join us at the Downtown Superior Plaza (2250 Main St.), from 6 to 7:30 p.m. on Thursday, Oct. 1, to meet the artists! The muralists will introduce themselves to the community and discuss their artistic practices and mural designs.
   
   
3. Take a guided or self-guided tour on the day of the festival.
   Check out the artists as they put the finishing touches on their murals! Space is limited for the free guided walking tour, so registration is required.
