As we approach the four-year anniversary of the Marshall Fire, Marshall Together is inviting a small group of families to participate in a special storytelling project focused on the journey of returning home after recovery.

What to Expect
Selected participants will be featured in the project during Spring/Summer 2025 and will:

  • Take part in a mini photography session in front of their home (optional: with family)
  • Record a 60-minute oral history with the Louisville Museum
  • Receive copies of their portraits

This project is a collaboration between Marshall Together, the University of Colorado, the Community Foundation of Boulder County, the Louisville Museum, and Masha of Paper Crane Photo.

Stories collected may be shared in a community report and could be featured in a future display at the Louisville Library.

Who Can Apply?
Families from Superior, Louisville, and Unincorporated Boulder County who were impacted by the fire or toxic ash are encouraged to apply.
