All community members impacted by the Marshall Fire are invited to gather on Friday, Dec. 18, from 6 to 9 p.m., at the Superior Community Center for an evening of remembrance and connection as Superior marks five years since the fire.

The gathering will honor the community's resilience and regrowth, provide a safe space for impacted residents to connect, heal, and share stories, and recognize the Town's recovery journey.

The event will focus on Superior's story but is open to anyone affected by the Marshall Fire. Please RSVP for the Marshall Fire 5-Year Resilience Event by Tuesday, Dec. 1, if you plan to attend.

The evening will feature:

  • Complimentary live music, heavy appetizers, and bar service;
  • The unveiling of the Marshall Fire Remembrance Project design; and
  • Resilience exhibits highlighting wildfire mitigation, the museum rebuild, opportunities to share your appreciation with first responders, and more; and
  • Family-friendly and adult art stations encouraging healing and storytelling through creativity.

A special documentary film highlighting our community's journey, resilience, progress in recovery, and our commitment to paying it forward by sharing our lessons learned will be available for viewing in the Longs Peak Room during the event. We invite you to stop by and watch if you are interested.

Reconnect with neighbors, honor the resilience that carried Superior forward, and look to the future.
