Superior Photo Walk Workshop

A person photographs public art in Superior

Enhance your photography skills with a FREE Photo Walk Workshop sponsored by the Cultural Arts & Public Spaces (CAPS) advisory committee! This event will lead participants past a series of Superior landmarks and pieces from the Town’s public art collection. The walk will be led by professional photographer and Superior resident Casey McCallister.

Bring your own digital camera, from phone to mirrorless to DSLR.  Tripods are optional but some opportunities for long exposure photography and instruction will exist.

  • All photography skill levels are welcome.
  • The Photo Walk will cover roughly 2-3 miles and will include the hill along McCaslin.
  • Wear appropriate footwear for distance walking and attire suitable for outdoor elements.
  • Bring your own hydration!

The workshop will conclude in the Downtown Superior Plaza, where the instructor is willing to provide instruction and answer questions until 7pm, if participants are interested.  An informal ‘photo editing’ workshop will be held in the Community Center approximately two weeks after the event for participants interested in learning how Casey would process a select set of photos from the walk.

Registration is required.
