Curbside Composting and Recycling in Superior

In April 2025, the Town is moving to a “Three Cart Program,” where all residents of Original Town, Sagamore, The Ridge, Coal Creek Crossing, Downtown Superior, Calmante, Lanterns, Autrey Shores and Rogers Farm on the Town’s contract will have access to three carts: garbage, recycling and compost, and customers will pay based on their selected garbage cart size.

Garbage, recycling and opt-in compost service for Rock Creek HOA, Saddlebrook and the Summit residents is provided by the Rock Creek Master Homeowners Association via contract with Waste Connections until 2028. If you live in one of the previously mentioned areas and would like to set up a compost pickup you must call Waste Connections at 303-288-2100 to set up the service.

Curbside recycling is not available for residents of Bell Flatirons Apartment community. However, recycling is available at the recycling containers located in Bell Flatirons I and IV between buildings 13 and 14. Unfortunately, multifamily units cannot contract their own compost and must work with property managers to set it up in a shared waste area. You can also drop off compost at CHaRM or coordinate with neighbors who have access to composting to arrange a shared drop off.
