South Pool Renovation
Begins Tuesday, Sept. 8
Once closed for the season, South Pool will be drained and winterized, the bathhouse and storage will be cleared, and the Town’s contractor, A.D. Miller, will mobilize onsite beginning Tuesday, Sept. 8.
With the contractor expecting to use and fence off the pool parking lot throughout the project, please do not park vehicles or bicycles in the lot after Labor Day. Additionally, for safety, the playground at the pool will be temporarily closed during concrete demolition and again when the concrete is repoured. Please follow posted signage and construction barriers and avoid entering restricted areas.
Once complete, South Pool will feature a larger pool, a renovated bathhouse and new play features, including a 25-foot slide, a current channel, and a splash pad.

North Pool Renovation
North Pool’s final day of the 2026 swim season was Sunday, Aug. 23. This renovation will bring significant improvements to the facility, including a new pool shell and deck, updated bathhouse, additional shade, a new zero-depth-entry wading pool and more efficient mechanical and sanitation systems.
The Town's contractor has begun demolition of the pool tile and plaster, with plans to start demolition of the pool deck the week of Sept. 7.
Several parking spaces near the lot entrance remain available for tennis players, with a safe pedestrian route to the tennis courts along the construction fencing. Signage marks the safest route to the tennis courts from the parking lot. Reminder: The North Pool parking lot will not be available for school drop-off during construction.
Please follow posted signage and construction barriers and avoid entering restricted areas. Thank you for your patience as we work to transform North Pool into an improved, welcoming facility that the Superior community can enjoy for years to come.
