As Rock Creek Parkway and many other construction projects continue around Town, please visit SuperiorColorado.gov/ProjectUpdates to keep up to date with the most recent developments.
Here’s the progress we've made on the Rock Creek Parkway project as of Saturday, Oct. 3.
Construction has moved to the southbound lanes of Rock Creek Parkway between Enterprise Street and Coalton Road and is expected to last until Nov. 6. Two way traffic is maintained on the north half of Rock Creek Parkway through the construction area. Please note that the southbound RTD 228A stops at Rock Creek Village/Bell Flatirons and Honey Creek Drive are closed during this closure.
This week (Sept 28. to Oct. 3)
Concrete work, including sidewalk repairs and curb and gutter repairs is in progress. Roadway milling was performed. The Rock Creek culvert was excavated and a new waterproof membrane installed. Honey Creek Lane was milled in preparation for a 2” asphalt overlay.
Next week (Oct. 5 to Oct. 10)
Concrete work will continue. Rock Creek Parkway from the Coal Ridge to Coalton Road will be chemically treated. Honey Creek Drive will be closed to the public from Thursday, Oct. 8, at 7 a.m. until Friday, Sept. 9, at 7 p.m. for asphalt removal. Autrey Park will remain open with trail access only on those days. Honey Creek Drive will be open to the public again for the weekend.
We appreciate your understanding as we work through this phase of the Rock Creek Parkway reconstruction.
