Town Council Meeting

April 28

During Monday’s Town Council meeting, the Council: held a joint dinner with the Advisory Committee for Environmental Sustainability (ACES); authorized the Town’s special counsel for airport litigation to take all steps necessary to appeal the district court’s decision regarding Rocky Mountain Metropolitan Airport; heard presentations and held discussions with: a representative from Sister Carmen regarding their organization and partnership with the Town; Town staff and the Boulder County Office of Disaster Management and Boulder County Sherriff’s Office regarding emergency management operations; and Town staff and representatives from Barker Rinker Seacat Architecture regarding pool assessments for North and South Pools; held a first reading regarding an ordinance that authorizes a quitclaim deed of any interest in the Turnbull Property located at 1599 S 76th Street;  approved an ordinance adding a new Article XIII to Chapter 2 of the Superior Municipal Code regarding campaign finance in municipal elections; appointed a new committee member to ACES; approved a resolution approving settlement agreements with and accepting a quitclaim deed from Timothy Kupfner; approved a resolution approving settlement agreements with and accepting a quitclaim deed from Betsy Kupfner, as personal representative for Rocky Kupfner; held a public hearing (second reading) and approved a bond ordinance to approve authorizing the issuance of the Town’s Capital Projects Sales and Use Tax Revenue Bonds Series 2025; and a held a public hearing (second reading) and approved an ordinance amending portions of Chapter 10 and Chapter 16 of the Superior Municipal Code concerning Land Use.
