March 2
During Monday’s Town Council Work Session, the council discussed: credit card processing fees; the Advisory Committee Handbook update; a potential affordable housing project at the Regional Transportation District-Bus Rapid Transit (RTD-BRT) site; and a potential chainsaw wood carving event along the Coal Creek corridor in conjunction with the Mural Festival.
March 3
On Tuesday, March 3, 2026, the Planning Commission held a public hearing and, by a vote of 5 yeses and 2 noes, recommended to the Town Council the adoption of an update to Chapter 16 of the Municipal Code regarding amendments to Planned Development plans.
March 4
At the March SYLC meeting, SYLC focused on event planning for Stem-A-Thon (March 7) and Parents Night Out (April 4), confirming activities, volunteers and work group members. SYLC also discussed the opportunity to volunteer in the Town’s Earth and Arbor Day events. SYLC interviewed Courtney Craig to fill the vacant spot available. SYLC then confirmed their next meeting will start with a joint dinner with SYLC and Town Council.
