All veterans, active-duty service members, and supporters are invited to join Council Member Jenn Kaaoush on Sunday, April 27 from 4 to 5:30 p.m. at the Superior Community Center (1500 Coalton Road) for a veterans group meetup.
This standing meeting is held on the last Sunday of each month through the end of the year. It offers an opportunity for fellowship, advocacy, and resource sharing.
In last month's meeting, the group discussed the PACT Act, which expands and extends eligibility for Veterans Affairs health care for vets with toxic exposures and veterans of the Vietnam, Gulf War and post-9/11 eras. Learn more about whether you qualify and apply for benefits.
