A new sculpture has landed in the Superior Commons (2130 Creek View Way) along Coal Creek Trail. Say hello to "Watcher & Seer", a unique and whimsical two-sided ceramic sculpture featuring an owl on one side and a crow on the other. The five-foot sculpture, created by artist Gregory Fields, is located just east of the McCaslin underpass tunnel.

The placement of "Watcher & Seer" is the result of the Cultural Arts in Public Spaces advisory committee’s vision to bolster the Town’s public art collection and to place artworks along the ARTery, a five-mile art path throughout Town.

Fields and Town staff installed the piece in late December and a videographer captured the process. Watch the installation video below!

This is the second artwork by Gregory Fields in the Town’s public art collection, his other artwork, a ceramic mosaic tile piece titled Peacock, is at Community Park.
