Superior’s municipal code (Sec. 11-1-20)requires homeowners to clear snow, sleet, or ice from sidewalks within 24 hours after a snowfall ends.
If you’re physically and financially unable, you may qualify for help through the Snow Busters volunteer program.
Who can request assistance?
Participation in Snow Busters does not guarantee that a volunteer will always be available. Town staff is not responsible for snow removal in the absence of a volunteer.
Want to volunteer? Snow Busters volunteers are paired with a neighbor in need. Once matched, volunteers and residents coordinate directly. Volunteers are only responsible for clearing the sidewalk in front of the home after snowfalls of more than 2 inches, within 24 hours.
Fill out the Snow Busters application to request assistance or sign up as a volunteer.
