Town of Superior update on recent power outages

Town staff are aware of the recent Xcel Energy power outages and wanted to provide an update to the community.

Please be aware that:

• The recent power outages are NOT associated with any Town projects or ongoing construction activities.
• Xcel has confirmed that these outages are associated with line failures on the underground power lines in Northern Rock Creek.
• Xcel has not confirmed if these outages will continue to occur but Town staff are following up with Xcel to gather more information.
• While Town staff are working closely with Xcel, the Town cannot control these outages and does not have any information about when they occur.

The Town encourages residents to contact Xcel directly with questions about outages and to report them on the Xcel Energy website.
