This May, the Town is recognizing National Wildfire Awareness Month by empowering our community with tools and opportunities to prepare for, recover from, and thrive after wildfires.

Public Hearings on Wildfire-Resilient Codes Various dates in May
Community voices are vital in shaping Colorado’s wildfire preparedness policies. The Colorado Wildfire Resiliency Code Board is holding public hearings and review to develop new statewide building and land use codes aimed at reducing wildfire risk. This code will impact Superior residents. We invite you to learn more and participate on the Wildfire Resiliency Code Board's website.
Please note:Written comments must be submitted by May 2. There will be four hearings with an opportunity for public comment on May 2, May 5, May 8, and May 9. These hearings will be held across Colorado, as well as virtually.
