Mastic repair work set to begin March 3

Mastic repairs on the street

The Town of Superior will conduct preventative maintenance on several streets throughout the Town. The work is tentatively scheduled to start on Tuesday, March 3 and will continue for several weeks, weather pending.

Mastic repairs will be performed on Castle Peak between Rock Creek Circle and Huron Peak Avenue, and several residential streets in northwestern Rock Creek — primarily between McCaslin Boulevard and Coal Creek Drive.

Mastic is a hot-poured asphalt mixture used to repair cracks, potholes, and other damage to roads and sidewalks. It's a durable, self-leveling material that can last for years. Installation is quick, though residents can expect temporary lane closures during work.

We appreciate your patience and flexibility while this work occurs. Please contact Public Works and Utilities at publicworks@superiorcolorado.gov with questions or concerns.
