Published on June 20, 2025

Who's ready to take a walk on the wild(flower) side?! Join naturalist and ecologist Jeff Mitton and the Open Space Advisory Committee on June 29 for a Wildflower Walk along Meadowlark Trail.

Mitton, the former chair of ecology and evolutionary biology at CU Boulder and a frequent columnist on plant and insect natural history for the Daily Camera, will share identification and the natural history of wildflowers found along the trail.

Participants should bring water and wear sturdy shoes and weather-appropriate clothing for this 2-mile out-and-back walk. The Wildflower Walk is suitable for ages 6 and up.
