Celebrate National Trails Day at Coalton Trailhead on Saturday, June 6, from 9 a.m. to noon. This family-friendly event is free and open to all ages.

The Open Space Advisory Committee is hosting a morning packed with activities:

  • Feed the goats
  • Get up close with live reptiles
  • Take a horse-drawn carriage ride
  • Explore educational booths
  • Join a guided Wildflower Bonanza walk on the prairie; registration is required.

Want to know what to do if something goes wrong on the trail? The Town's Disaster Preparedness and Recovery team is teaming up with Mountain View Fire Rescue to offer Trail First Aid 101 tips. It's the kind of knowledge you hope you never need but will be really glad you have! (No registration needed.)
