Intrepid began installing fiber lines in Superior in mid-June, with Phase 1 work currently underway in the Rock Creek neighborhood near Heartstrong Street. The company expects to complete installations for the first 121 addresses by the end of July, with service extended to an additional 167 addresses by mid-August.
A general map showing the planned work areas in Superior is available on the Intrepid website. At this time, Downtown Superior is not shown on Intrepid’s service map, as the area is still under evaluation. While indications suggest they are leaning toward including Downtown Superior, a final decision has not yet been made. Town staff continue to advocate for the inclusion of Downtown Superior and have facilitated communication between Intrepid and local builders to support this effort.
