Superior's Sustainability team is bringing the (compost) magic to the Superior Summer Market: Fall Fest in Downtown Superior on Saturday, Oct. 18 from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.
In addition to all the other great happenings of the event, including a performance by local musicians Jeff & Paige, the Every Scrap Matters booth will have opportunities to win prizes, learn more about composting, receive cool swag and be dazzled by our magician, Miss Peel!
Why does Every Scrap Matter? Composting is essential to extending the life of our landfills and preserving our natural areas! It also helps Superior get closer to achieving our community's zero waste goals.

A chance to win a $100 Gift Card: Attend the next Every Scrap Matters pop-up event and achieve the fastest time in the sorting challenge to win a $100 gift card to the Superior restaurant of your choice! Two lucky signers of the composting pledge will also be selected from a drawing for one of two $50 gift cards.
Magic: Your kids might know this one, but have you ever seen what happens when a banana peel goes through the composting cycle? What if that banana peel was also a magician? You should just come see it for yourself!
Free Kitchen Compost Pails: Anyone who attends the October Every Scrap Matters pop-up event and chats with our event staff can take home a free compost pail for your kitchen, while supplies last. Come early to snag yours!
