Welcome to the Every Scrap Matters Experience! This September and October, Superior is running an exciting sustainability campaign that includes games, prizes, and a composting magician. Why does Every Scrap Matter? Composting is essential to extending the life of our landfills and preserving our natural areas! It also helps Superior get closer to achieving our community's zero waste goals.

Upcoming Every Scrap Matters Pop-up Experiences

Superior Summer Market: Wednesday, Sept. 10 from 5 to 8 p.m. Superior Summer Market & Fall Fest: Saturday, Oct. 18 from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.

Here is what you can look forward to:

A chance to win a $100 Gift Card: Attend one of the Every Scrap Matters Pop-up events and sign the composting pledge to be entered into a drawing for one of four $100 gift cards to a local Superior restaurant of your choice. There will also be prizes for those who achieve the fastest time in the Every Scrap Matters compost sorting challenge — one for the Summer Market in September and one for the Fall Fest in October.

Magic: Your kids might know this one, but have you ever seen what happens when a banana peel goes through the composting cycle? What if that banana peel was also a magician? You should just come see it for yourself!

Free Kitchen Compost Pails: Anyone who attends one of the Every Scrap Matters Pop-up events and chats with our event staff can take home a free compost pail for your kitchen, while supplies last. Come early to snag yours!
