Start the year off right with an Eco-leader training for the whole family on Jan. 31 from 10 to 11:30 a.m. at the Superior Community Center (1500 Coalton Road)!
We'll begin the training with Superior’s first Zero Waste carnival featuring games, activity stations and hot chocolate from 10-10:30 a.m.
Afterwards, join Miss Peel and Lex Shannon, Eco-Cycle’s Public Education and Engagement Manager, for a family-friendly interactive session on what's recyclable, what's compostable, and what is appropriate for the landfill. Kids of all ages are welcome with an adult attendee. This training is free and open to the public. Please RSVP to let us know you're coming!
As a volunteer Eco-Leader, you’ll join a dynamic and diverse network of hundreds of other like-minded people! You’ll gain access to ongoing trainings, various volunteer opportunities, and exciting legislative campaigns. Dedicated staff will support you in spreading the word in ways that work for you—your commitment in time and actions are flexible and entirely up to you!
