The Superior Community Center is closing early at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday, Sept. 18 for a Taste of Nepal. Regular hours resume on Sept. 19.

Featured Programs

CPR Training (12+) 10 a.m. to noon on Saturday, Sept. 27: Participants will learn CPR techniques, AED use, and rescue breathing and earn a nationwide, two-year certification. This course meets OSHA workplace requirements and is ideal for healthcare professionals, workplace safety officers, and concerned citizens.

Reset and Reconnect (18+) 6 to 7:15 p.m. on Friday, Oct. 3: Are you ready to reconnect with yourself? Explore practical tools to do so, including meditation, energy awareness, and grounded self-reflection! No experience needed — just bring your curiosity and an open mind!

American Red Cross Babysitter Training (11+) 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Saturday, Oct. 4: This babysitter training class is designed for teens and young adults who want to care for children safely and responsibly! Participants receive the official American Red Cross Babysitter Training Certificate upon completion.

Superior Civic Space

We're excited to announce that the new Superior Civic Space is officially open for the community to use! With room for about 400 people, it’s perfect for working, relaxing, or hosting small events. Residents can rent it for $150/hour and enjoy access to the main event area, a conference room, lobby, and available equipment.

Prep and Popcorn Matinee (12 and under) from 1:30 to 4 p.m. on Saturday, Sept. 27: Grab some popcorn and get ready for an afternoon of laughter and learning with Superior's Disaster Preparedness and Recovery team!

Bring your kids and your comfiest blankets and pillows and wear your favorite pajamas as we cozy up to watch the Disney/Pixar movie "Elemental" as a community. Plus, win prizes in Preparedness Bingo and head home with quick readiness tips.

Please note that this event is best for families with kids ages 12 and under.
