Town staff have been working with Broomfield to complete a pavement rehabilitation project along Coalton Road from Rock Creek Parkway to West Flatiron Crossing Drive.
Crews have completed the concrete repairs, and the paving portion of the project is scheduled to begin Tuesday, Sept. 2. All work between Superior and Broomfield is set for completion by the end of September.
The Town is responsible for the operation and maintenance of Coalton Road from Rock Creek Parkway to the Tyler Drive intersection, with Broomfield responsible for the remainder of Coalton Road east of Tyler Drive, including the intersection.
Once this project is complete, the updates will improve the roadway surface and correct drainage issues in this area.
During construction, residents can expect temporary lane closures, lane shifts, periodic sidewalk and bike lane closures, and some travel delays. Access on Coalton Road will be maintained during construction.
