Two girls paddle in a cardboard boat on a body of water

Will it float? Let's find out!

The Town of Superior is hosting the first-ever Cardboard Boat Regatta on Sunday, Aug. 3, and we want to see your best cardboard boat designs!

Participants will design and build boats made of cardboard and duct tape and race them for the fastest time in Superior's North Pool.

Please be aware that all exposed cardboard must be covered in duct tape to prevent disintegration in the pool. Boats can be decorated however you'd like, but please come with the boat ready to go. Two people can ride in the boat, and the crew must remain inside the boat for the race.

Find out more and sign up to race today.

Don't want to race? No problem! All are welcome to spectate and cheer on the participants. Either way, we'll see you at the pool!
