Celebrate Arbor Day by planting a tree!

We’re going back to our roots for this year's Arbor Day Celebration on Saturday, April 26, from 10 a.m. to noon at Purple Park (1310 S. Pitkin Ave.). Help us plant trees throughout Purple Park while learning tree-planting tips and tricks specific to our area. Volunteers needed! You can take part in the traditional Tree City USA tree-planting ceremony and help plant trees throughout the park – no green-thumb needed, but feel free to bring a shovel! Here's what you can expect during the event:

• GoatBros: pet, feed and learn about our community goats
• Vento Coffee: delicious beverages and breakfast treats for purchase
• Free Seedlings and planting education by SaveATree (limited supply)
• Vendors offering free and fun, green-themed activities for all to enjoy!

This is the Town's 18th celebration of our Tree City USA designation!

Event Schedule:

• 10 a.m. to noon - All activities and booths open
• 10:15 a.m. - Arbor Day proclamation and speech by the Town Mayor
• 11 a.m. to noon - Tree planting
