Rocky Mountain Metropolitan Airport (RMMA) is initiating a Part 150 Noise Study to assess aircraft noise and identify potentially incompatible land uses around the airport.

The airport has partnered with RS&H, a specialized consultant, to conduct this comprehensive analysis. The study is in its initial stages and they are currently forming Focus Groups to provide essential insights to the consultant. Interest in Participation Form will be open from April 4 through April 20.  Please note: a limited number of participants will be selected from areas in close proximity to the airport to ensure balanced representation.

These groups will help communicate and discuss key issues such as aircraft flight paths, current and projected airport operations, aircraft types, local zoning and land use considerations, and community feedback.

Why participate?
RMMA wants to hear about your experiences and insights related to airport operations and aircraft noise.

What to expect?
Discussion about noise concerns and potential mitigation strategies. Five sessions facilitated by experts in aviation and community engagement.

Engagement channels include the airport’s main website, a dedicated Part 150 Noise Study website, Public Open Houses, Airport Advisory Board briefings, Jefferson County Board of County Commissioners briefings, newsletters, and RMMA social media updates.
