Experience a day filled with family-friendly events and patriotic spirit! We invite you to join in the many festivities as Superior celebrates our nation's independence with red, white and blue fun for everyone!

The celebration starts with the popular Superior Mile – downhill race! Grab your friends and family and prepare to break your record in the mile during this Fourth-themed race.
T-shirts will be given out on a first come first served basis to the first 250 picking up bibs. Children and adult sizes will be available!

Join in or watch from the sidelines, but don’t forget to vote for your favorite entry! The Superior 4th of July parade is a long-standing community favorite that kicks off at 8:30 a.m. down Rock Creek Parkway from South Indiana Street and ends in Community Park (1350 Coalton Road).
The red, white, and blue procession, led by the Monarch High School Marching Band, will return to the traditional route down Rock Creek Parkway. Parade line-up will be on Rock Creek Parkway from South Pitkin Avenue to South Indiana Street, and the community can vote for their favorite entries using QR codes posted along the route and at the Pancake Festival.
Whether you're floating, riding or walking, we've got space for you! Let your imagination run wild and share your unique take on what Independence Day means to you. There will be prizes for the first, second and third place winners!
Now that you’ve worked up an appetite, it’s time to grab hot pancakes during the Pancake Festival at Community Park (1350 Coalton Road) from 9 a.m. to noon, sponsored by Spice of Life and served by the Rotary Club of Boulder Valley.
This year’s festival will also offer circus-themed entertainment: stilt walkers, bubble and balloon artists, and face painters; also, a plethora of bouncies and local business booths. Bring a water bottle!
Why stop the fun now when more food, entertainment and cold beverages await just across the street at the Superior Community Center (1500 Coalton Road) from noon to 3 p.m.
For purchase food will be provided by Marcos Hot Dogs & Tacos, and music will be playing from Dylan Teifer& Friends that you won't want to miss!
Join the 4th of July parade Ride, walk or float your way in your best Red, White and Blue for this long-standing community favorite event! This year's parade will cruise down Rock Creek Parkway from South Pitkin Avenue to Coalton Road and end in Community Park (1350 Coalton Road). Register to participate by June 27.
Volunteer Volunteers are needed for the race, parade and festival. Time slots are available throughout the event at several stations. Visit the volunteer page to find more information and register by June 27.
Register for a booth The Superior Chamber is partnering with the Town to give businesses and organizations an opportunity to join the fun and promote products and services. Register for a vendor booth by June 16.
Please walk, ride or carpool. No bike valet will be offered. Bike racks will be set up, but owners are responsible for parking and securing their own bike. Please bring a bike lock!
A free parking will be available in Lot 15 at the corner of Coalton Road and McCaslin Boulevard across from the Coalton Trailhead. A shuttle will service this lot, making round trips to and from Community Park every 15 minutes from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m.
