Mark your calendars, the Town's signature Chili & Beer Fest is just around the corner! Join the community for a day of delicious chili, cold beverages and fun with your neighbors and friends.
This year's event is on Sept. 6 from 2 to 6 p.m.at Community Park (1350 Coalton Road). It features family-friendly fun, including live music from the Wrenn Van Band and The Hazel Miller & The Collective, games and activities for kids and adults, local vendors, and of course chili, beer and more!
The Community Chili Cook Off is back by popular demand! This cook off is an opportunity for individuals to compete with (or against) friends and neighbors for who has the best chili!
The winner will be determined by a panel of judges during the event and announced at 3 p.m.
Grab your best chili recipe, call your friends and family, and register before Aug. 12.
The People’s Choice Competition features businesses, restaurants, organizations, and food trucks looking to show off their chili and sell other various products. Those interested should register for the People’s Choice Chili Cook Off by Aug. 12.
Free general entry to the Chili & Beer Fest includes unlimited chili samples while supplies last.
Hosted by the Rotary Club of Boulder Valley, Beer Fest tickets can be purchased for $40 in advance or $50 at the door. These tickets allow unlimited tastings (3-ounce pours) from an array of beer, cider, non-alcoholic beverages and spirit vendors. You'll also take home a souvenir Boulder Valley Beer Fest glass mug!
VIP admission, hosted by the Superior Chamber of Commerce, offer all the perks of Beer Fest general admission, plus exclusive access to the shaded VIP lounge with catered tacos, rice & beans, salsa bar, homemade chips, aguas frescas, Jarritos, nachos, and Modelo beer + micheladas and more. Tickets can be purchased for $85 in advance or $95 at the doors.
Volunteers are the backbone of this event; from set-up to sustainability, our volunteers ensure these massive events go on without a hitch.
We have time slots available at different stations and different times throughout the event, so whether you'd like to chip in for the whole event or just a couple hours, we've got a way you can plug in and help support the community!

The Superior Chamber of Commerce coordinates booths each year to get you in front of our community. Whether you're a local business looking to increase your visibility or an artist looking to sell your wares, we have space for you.
Book a booth space for your business or organization through the Superior Chamber of Commerce by Aug. 22.
In an effort to promote sustainability at our events, we encourage everyone to walk, ride their bikes, or carpool to the Chili & Beer Fest. No bike valet will be provided this year, please bring your own lock.
If you need to drive, parking will be available at the northeast corner of McCaslin Blvd. and Coalton Road, and there will be a free shuttle to Community Park. The shuttle bus will run from noon to 7 p.m., making a round trip every 15 minutes.
Disabled parking will be available in the Community Park parking lot, and will be marked with temporary signs.
Do not park in front of businesses near Community Park or the Safeway shopping center. Violators will be towed at the owner's expense. These parking lots are for customer use only.
