Historical Commission Hosts Two-Part Event on Native History & Healing

The Historical Commission invites the community to a meaningful two-part program exploring Native history in Colorado and Boulder County. This year's annual fall program will edify through experiential exhibits and a presentation so that residents can gain insight into the region's past.

Part 1 

Breathing Healing into the Banks of Sand Creek 

2 to 6 p.m. 

A mobile exhibit of social engagement and artistic development addressing the 1864 Sand Creek Massacre as history-into-present that defines both Indigenous and non-Indigenous existence in the state of Colorado.
