Zero Waste:
We are taking action to reduce waste at Town events in order to align with the strategies outlined in the Town’s Sustainability Action Plan. As a result, our Town festivals have updated Zero Waste goals. The Town asks all vendors and festival participants to operate in compliance with Zero Waste policies:
- Use of single-use plastic bags and polystyrene (Styrofoam™) products is strongly discouraged (and will be prohibited in future years).
- Use of reusable, recyclable, and compostable items is strongly encouraged.
