2026 REGULAR ELECTION: NOV. 3, 2026

The Town of Superior, in partnership with Boulder County, will hold its next Regular Election on Tuesday, Nov. 3, 2026. Ballots will be mailed to active, registered voters beginning in early October, and ballot drop boxes and in-person voting will be available. Check your voter registration to make sure your information is up to date. Superior voters will elect a mayor and five Town Council seats. The ballot also includes state and county races and ballot measures.

TOWN COUNCIL CANDIDATES

The Town Council adopts ordinances and resolutions, appropriates funds for Town business, and provides policy direction for Town government through Town staff and advisory committees. The mayor and Council members are elected by popular vote in November of even-numbered years and may serve up to two four-year terms.

The top three vote-getters for Council candidates will be elected to four-year terms. The next two highest vote-getters will be elected to two-year terms to fill vacancies.

Two candidate forums are scheduled in September:

League of Women Voters of Boulder County: Superior Candidates Forum
Tuesday, Sept. 29 | 6 to 7:30 p.m.
Superior Town Hall, 124 E. Coal Creek Drive
Meet the mayoral and Town Council candidates at this forum hosted by the League of Women Voters of Boulder County. The forum is free, and registration is not required.

Face the Chamber: Superior Candidates Forum
Wednesday, Sept. 30 | 6 to 8 p.m.
Superior Civic Space, 2250 Main St., Suite 1001
The Superior Chamber of Commerce will host this moderated candidate forum, which is free and open to the public.

VOTING INFORMATION

  1. Vote by mail-Ballots will be mailed to active, registered voters beginning in early October. If you return your ballot by mail, send it as soon as possible and no later than Monday, Oct. 26, to allow time for delivery. After Oct. 26, use a ballot drop box instead.Track your ballot by signing up for BallotTrax at GoVoteColorado.gov.

  2. Vote by drop box -Return your ballot to any 24-hour ballot drop box in Colorado, including the ballot drop box at Superior Town Hall, 124 E. Coal Creek Drive. Ballots must be received by 7 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 3.

  3. Vote in person - The Superior Town Hall Vote Center will be open:
  • Monday, Nov. 2: 8 a.m. to 6 p.m.
  • Tuesday, Nov. 3: 7 a.m. to 7 p.m.

Eligible voters can register and vote through Election Day. Bring identification when voting in person.

There are no Town of Superior ballot issues.
