Several closures and detours are scheduled as crews continue work on the Rock Creek Parkway project.
On Thursday, Oct. 22, Honey Creek Drive will be closed from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. for paving. Autrey Park will remain open with trail access only. Pedestrians and cyclists will not be able to cross Honey Creek Drive during the closure.
On Tuesday, Oct. 27, the Coalton Road and Rock Creek Parkway intersection is expected to fully close for two to three hours sometime between 9 a.m. and 2 p.m. Drivers will be detoured along Coalton Road, South Indiana Street and Rock Creek Parkway.
Midday closure windows are scheduled when possible to reduce impacts to school and rush-hour traffic. All work is weather-dependent. Crews are working toward substantial completion of the Rock Creek Parkway reconstruction project by Friday, Nov. 6.
