Rock Creek Parkway construction begins April 3

Construction on the Rock Creek Parkway bridge near McCaslin Boulevard will begin Thursday, April 3. 

Please be advised that eastbound Rock Creek Parkway will be closed to vehicles between McCaslin Boulevard and East Wiggins Street. The westbound side of Rock Creek Parkway will be converted into a two-way street, similar to last year's construction project.

The closure on the eastbound side of Rock Creek Parkway is expected to continue until the end of June, when the westbound side will be closed for the next stage of construction.

Additionally, please be aware that:

• Eastbound Rock Creek Parkway will be closed to bicycle and pedestrian traffic between McCaslin Boulevard and South Pitkin Avenue. Please detour to the westbound sidewalk.
• The RTD bus stop on eastbound Rock Creek Parkway near McCaslin will be closed for the duration of the traffic closure. 
• The pedestrian underpass that goes underneath Rock Creek Parkway and leads to Purple Park is expected to be closed through August.
