The Town of Superior is aware that some community members may have received a text message claiming to be from a company called Dynata asking residents to complete a survey on local issues.

Please note that this message is not affiliated with the Town of Superior.

If the Town of Superior conducts a survey or any other form of community outreach, you will always hear about it on our official communication channels!

The Federal Communications Commission offers some tips to those who may be receiving unwanted text messages:

  • Do not respond to texts from unknown or questionable sources, and never click links in these messages.
  • Most mobile carriers let you block spam by forwarding the message to 7726 (SPAM). Check with your provider.
  • Be careful about giving out your mobile phone number and personal information.
  • Before submitting your number on websites, read the privacy policy and look for opt-out options—often a checkbox.
  • Check the policies of the companies you do business with regarding the sale or sharing of your information.
