The Nov. 3 election is approaching, and two upcoming forums offer opportunities to hear directly from the candidates for mayor and Town Council.
League of Women Voters of Boulder County: Superior Candidates Forum Tuesday, Sept. 29 | 6 to 7:30 p.m. Superior Town Hall, 124 E. Coal Creek Drive
Meet the mayoral and Town Council candidates at this forum hosted by the League of Women Voters of Boulder County. The forum is free, and registration is not required. The League of Women Voters of Boulder County describes its Sept. 29 forum as a nonpartisan event to help voters learn about the candidates, with questions drawn from public submissions on the priority issues they want candidates to address. Questions can be submitted online through Sunday, Sept. 27, and won't be taken at the forum itself. The League will post a recording afterward on its website, its YouTube channel and VOTE411.org.
Face the Chamber: Superior Candidates Forum Wednesday, Sept. 30 | 6 to 8 p.m. Superior Civic Space, 2250 Main St., Suite 1001
The Superior Chamber of Commerce will host Face the Chamber, a moderated candidate forum. The free event is open to the public. The Chamber describes the Sept. 30 forum as an opportunity for candidates for mayor and Town Council to answer questions about issues affecting Superior’s businesses, residents, and future. Chamber members helped develop the questions. Learn more about the event and participating candidates on the Superior Chamber of Commerce website.
