A neighborhood meeting will be held at Superior Town Hall (124 E. Coal Creek Drive) on Thursday, Feb. 20 from 6 to 7:30 pm in the Board Room to discuss options for the Rock Creek Parkway and Coal Creek Drive intersection.
The Town of Superior has received input from residents about the difficulty of turning on and off of Rock Creek Parkway from Coal Creek Drive, especially during peak hours. The Town is exploring options for alleviating this difficulty. Staff has reviewed this information with the Town Council and is moving forward with community outreach and engagement seeking resident feedback on possible intersection improvements.
Potential solutions include a stop-controlled intersection, a roundabout, and a possible traffic signal. Intersection improvements will occur later this year as part of the Rock Creek Parkway roadway improvement project.
Attendance in person is encouraged, but the meeting will also be held virtually on Zoom.
