Parkwell to resume parking enforcement along Main Street

Parking enforcement in Downtown Superior was paused last year. Due to increasing demand for parking along Main Street, and to help ensure parking turnover for businesses, the Town's parking management vendor, Parkwell, will resume enforcement along Main Street this month.

Outdoor emergency warning sirens in Superior will be tested this morning (Monday, July 6) at 10 a.m.

This test is part of Boulder County's new year-round monthly testing schedule of its outdoor emergency warning sirens.

Fourth of July: Holiday closures and modified hours

Town offices and Superior Town Hall will be closed on Friday, July 3, in observance of the Fourth of July.

On Saturday, July 4, the Superior Civic Space will be closed. The Superior Community Center will be open with modified hours from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. The North Pool and South Pool will close at 5 p.m.

Join us Saturday, July 4 at Community Park as Superior celebrates our nation's independence with red, white and blue fun for everyone!

As you celebrate the 4th of July holiday, please remember that Stage 1 fire restrictions are in effect in the Town of Superior. Personal fireworks, including sparklers, fountains and other ground-based fireworks, are prohibited.

Town adopts Drought Mitigation Plan for local drought navigation

The Drought Mitigation Plan is a guide for the Town of Superior as it evaluates and navigates times of drought.

This document identifies conditions that define a drought, the Town’s response as droughts grow in severity or impact, and a framework for communicating that response.

Though there are currently no local water restrictions, the Town is seeking opportunities to increase water saving.
