About the Program

The main goal of the Town's Adopt-a-Road program is to provide a way for environmentally-conscious citizens, community and civic organizations, and private businesses to contribute to a cleaner and more beautiful Superior. Participating in the program also gives the volunteer groups a sense of pride and ownership while displaying their interest in our community.

Program Benefits and Requirements

The Adopt-a-Road program was initiated by the Town in 1999. The program has produced substantial benefits to our community as citizens and businesses work with the Town to establish a joint working partnership.

The business or organization that adopts a section of the road is asked to make a one-year commitment to the program, with the opportunity to renew annually after that. Participating also includes opportunities to volunteer to help with park and creek clean-up events around Town throughout the year. The initial cost of the program is $200 (to cover the cost of signs). The signs are a way to market the program and identify which organizations are taking part in the upkeep and beautification of Superior.

Currently, there are no adopt-a-road vacancies. If you are interested in the program and would like to be placed on a waiting list for available roads to adopt, please email the Town of Superior.
