Superior Tennis SPRING 2019

The Town’s long-time tennis professional, Ted Murray, recently decided to move on and pursue other opportunities outside the country. We appreciate the lasting impact Ted made on the Superior tennis community. This spring, local tennis professional Susan Burke will begin directing the Town’s junior and adult tennis programming at the North Pool Tennis Courts. Sue has over 25 years of experience in the racket sports industry, having coached high school state champs, NCAA and Grand Slam Champs. She was a USTA National Coach, US Women’s Coach for the Pan Am Games, trainer for the Chinese Tennis Association and has been a recipient of multiple community service awards. We are excited to partner with someone of Sue’s caliber to help guide the program moving forward!

Teams are formed by age and ability and must be registered by the end of April. Teams will play against other local teams throughout June and July and may qualify for the state tournament in August. Matches are played in hour and a half increments on Mondays between 8am and 2pm. Practices will be between 3-6 pm on Wednesdays. Please register as soon as possible so that we can assign you to the team that is a best fit for you.

*Registering for this program does not guarantee you will be on a team. We will make every effort to ensure the participant is placed on an ideal team, but if one isn't available we will either apply this payment to the CARA Tennis League or offer you a refund. 6/10-7/22, $180

Private Lessons (Ages 14+)
