Clint Folsom was elected Mayor for the Town of Superior in November 2014 and re-elected in November 2018.  As Mayor, Clint facilitates the bi-monthly Board of Trustee meetings, attends community and business events and other official functions in the Town of Superior.  Regionally he serves as Superior’s representative at the Metro Mayors Caucus in Denver, the U.S. 36 Mayors & Commissioners Coalition, Colorado Municipal League, Denver Regional Council of Governments (DRCOG) and other committees and working groups. Prior to serving as Mayor, Clint served for six years on Superior’s Planning Commission with the last two years serving as its chairperson.

During his time serving as mayor Clint has established several new programs and initiatives to keep residents informed about the town and to increase awareness about Superior throughout the region. The annual State of Superior, Mayor and Manager Update features “state of the union” type updates from the town manager and mayor.  During Superior’s largest community events, 4th of July Festival and Chili Fest, Clint has a booth to speak with residents about current events.  In the fall of each year one of Clint’s favorite events is speaking to around 300 second graders over three days of field trips to Town Hall where the students learn about their town government.

In addition to serving as Mayor, Clint is also the managing broker and owner of Folsom & Company Real Estate. Founded by Clint in 1989, Clint and his associate brokers represent buyers and sellers of residential and investment real estate throughout the Boulder Valley region.

Clint was born and raised in Birmingham, Alabama and relocated to Colorado in 1988 to attend the University of Colorado at Boulder. In 1997, he was one of the first homeowners to move into Superior’s Sagamore subdivision where his family lived until 2005 when they moved to their current home in Rock Creek. Clint and his wife Leslie have two children who attend schools in Superior. The Folsoms are active supporters, donors and participants in several local organizations including the Superior Chamber of Commerce, MOD Moms, Impact on Education, Precious Child and the Presidents Leadership Class at CU Boulder.
