Ken Lish was elected to serve on the Town of Superior’s Board of Trustees in the November 2018 general election. As Trustee, he is responsible for adopting Ordinances and Resolutions, appropriating funds to conduct Town business, providing policy direction for Town governance, and representing Superior constituents in legislative, quasi-judicial, and administrative proceedings. He represents Superior regionally as a representative at the Boulder County Consortium of Cities as well as the Rocky Flats Stewardship Council. Prior to his election to the Town Board, Ken served as the Chair of the Town's Open Space Advisory Committee.
In addition to his work as Trustee, Ken is a Certified Public Accountant and Certified Fraud Examiner. He works as an Audit Director for an Office of Inspector General that oversees a Federal scientific agency with an annual appropriation of more than $8 billion. In that capacity he is responsible for leading a team that conducts and oversees audits of the largest research institutions in the country.
Ken received his M.B.A. and B.B.A from St. Bonaventure University.
