Neal Shah was elected to his second term in 2022, currently serves as trustee, and has served since 2018. Neal’s professional background is in engineering and corporate finance. He is the Chief Financial Officer of NioCorp Developments, an early-stage mining company headquartered in Centennial, CO. He holds an MBA from Purdue University and a bachelor’s in mechanical engineering from the University of Colorado, Boulder.
Neal has lived in Superior with his wife, Laxmi, and their two kids since 2009. They love this community and everything it has had to offer their family. Both kids have matriculated through the Superior schools, are currently at Monarch High School, and headed to college soon. Neal’s parents also live in Superior.
Neal has represented Superior in many ways and currently serves as a Board Member on DRCOG and on the DRCOG Finance & Budget Committee. He is also one of the founders of Superior Rising.
